Experts in the Art of Excavation
We are a Saskatoon-based family business that was started in 1975 by Don and Angie Wehage – Don Wehage Trucking Ltd. After years of hard work and determination, together the family grew the company to become Don Wehage & Sons Trucking & Excavating. The Wehage family also went on to form Smiley’s Storage Solution Ltd. and Smiley’s Crane Service Ltd.
In November of 2008, we lost our founder, a prominent successful businessman Don Wehage. Don was well known throughout Western Canada as a respectful, trustworthy, honest, and loyal person. His excellent leadership, hard work ethic, and determination have instilled these values in our entire team. We are thankful to Dad for that and will continue to serve our customers in the same manner he did in this busy and ever-changing world.
Although his sudden death was an agonizing loss to all who knew and loved him, his spirit will continue to be in our memories of him.
We are his legacy – “Experts In The Art Of Excavation.”
We take pride in completing jobs with efficiency and precision. We have successfully completed many projects – large and small, near and far. We have obtained a long list of valued, long-term customers to who we continue to provide services. We have a lot of maintenance customers which we provide snow removal and sanding in the winter. In the spring, we offer steaming catch basins, repair catch basins, manhole, manhole lids, sweeping, line painting, and paving potholes.
We would like to thank our customers for their continued patronage.
